During my three year apprenticeship at the furniture store 'Hardeck' I learned how to create appealing rooms for the customers. These incIuded bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms, kitchens, nurseries and bathrooms.
Another task was the seasonal decoration of the entrances. We were also responsible for the signage for new campaigns and sales inside the store.
l gained the know-how about craftsmanship, painting, wallpapering and woodwork with the use of several tools.
Throughout all this I was able to learn the planning of projects, team-up with coworkers, improvise and more.
What I enjoyed most about my workplace was that we were not given any explicit guidelines on how we should arrange the room, we were free in our creativity.
